The trip covers the majority of the Chico River from Tinglayan to Pasil with approximate rafting time of four to five hours at high water and six to seven hours at lower water levels. This stretch is generally of Class III & IV rapids amidst the scenic wonder of the Chico River gorge, heartland of Kalinga. You will pass through ancient rice terraces, narrow limestone canyons, sleepy villages, and of course the thrill of Kalinga whitewater.

Sailing

The Puerto Galera Yacht Club’s custom made “LAWIN” dinghies provide a thorough grounding in all aspects of sailing. Students will learn both theory and the practical application of basic sailing techniques (tacking, gibing, reaching, etc.), helming, crew and teamwork, introductory racing skills and tactics along with safety and capsize drills. On the successful completion of course, students will be presented with a Certificate of Proficiency by the Commodore.
